ATC Summer 2004 Short Play Contest: American Theatre Co-op - CA

Deadline: July 30, 04. The American Theatre Co-op's (ATC's) annual Short Play Contest is underway! The submission deadline is July 30, and winners will be announced on September 30. Two playwriting categories are available, and plays from 10 to 30 minutes in length are welcome. The top award includes distribution of the winning play to the ATC's network of more than 100 theatres across the U.S., from Off-Broadway to LA; national publicity for one year; and 12 months of free coverage in MY VITAE, the e-zine that delivers the resumes and script synopses of emerging playwrights to more than 500 theatres each month. Up to three winners will be selected; 10 finalists will also receive prizes. Application fee: $5 for non-members; free for ATC members.
