I ran into an old aquaintance, a fellow named Mashee, playing steel drums and guitar, with a programmed accompaniment on a sequence box. I'd worked with him about ten years ago at a few gigs with Zo, a great guy who was the culture/outreach person at Great Explorations.
Mashee sounds better than ever. he 's working on first avenue in front of Tangelo's one of my favorite old St Pete hang outs.
