Gen H. celbrates her birthday today. we all went over to see he yesterday. Masha and Peter went in the van, but since they wanted to be timely with her I followed after, in my own car. For a whole variety of reasons, i took the longest way there.
I forgot to ask how old she is. I wonder what it would be like if we didn't use calender dates to measure age. Some people would stay the same age for a long time. Gen was nice. She usually is. I had a glass flower for her that came from Pandi's Thai import store and a card put together on the Picture It! the program crashed three times be fore i got it together. It seems that the "minimal install" left some crucial things out.
Before I left i thought about scanning a drawing of peter playing guitar which I did years ago, then i went through an envelope of old photos mostly of allen's birthday party peter made goofy faces in those shots so, i skipped it, i was late any way.
On the way i had some difficulties as i mentioned then i arrived at the restaurant, (purely by chance it seemed) at exactly the time the movie was about to start. the movie was about thirty minutes into it when i found a parking spot half a mile from the theater.
While i waited i watched the people I assumed that the movie was not that long. After a while i sort of adopted a parade rest. then the manager noticed me and asked the sheriff to check me out. I'd noticed him inside but he popped out from some surprise door moments after the manager had scooted by with a suspisious glint in his eye. the sheirff/ security asked wha iwas about and said i could wait inside. Apparently the most suspicious thing was that i was standing out side instead of in the air conditioned lobby. standing inside wasn't better security gut kept lookig atme a n then finally he came walking towards me, i thought he was going to talk to me again and ask me to move back outside then it looked like he might hit me but it was all about that time when Brinks comes to AMC.
he just walk ed out and was worried that I provided him with a potential obstacle.
