My Last Post must have failed, the computer hung up and would not connect, and then Masha needed the phone to field a call from Mike T. for Peter.
Maybe notepad is better for working, less to distract, more attention to the writing and mechanics of keyboarding. Especially after the experience of the Dragin'NotSpeakin' Which crashed and made me train it over and over while it filled up the hard drive with increasingly histrionic variations of my speak patterns.
I am exited about having these Blogs, and using them. What I started on Postcard was partly the result of trying to clean up around the house and on the computer. I needed a place to put stuff if it was meaningful so I could work on it later and perhaps complete my thesis.
Some of the writing is just a could-be-couplet or an aphoristic observation written on a napkin scrap. Also there are some quotes that inspired me or one of my friends, and a couple of chunks of my thesis.

I made Brunch for Masha and I (omelet and miso soup) the Iguana came down from the bookcase and had to go out side. We negotiated over the portioning of the food, the handling of the Iguana and the washing of the dishes.

I didn't have time to post before Masha needed to use the phone. That is why I'm writing this now. With luck it won't get zapped before I'm done posting.
Last night I found a Blog called this Lady was writing about the hassles of going though American Immigration. She also wrote about going to a meditation retreat and posted song lyrics and poetry along with commentary and links to other Blogs and webstuff. Most bloggers do that apparently. It is just that I found myself skipping around the net following her train of thought. The company she works for should pay her (well) to teach Communication at a community college in Provincial America. (Alas that's not their business and I think she loves the city to well). Still, Fred Wright teaches everywhere by correspondence. ---BW 12:12 PM 4/15/2002
